Colorado Bans Most Semi-Autos

Colorado has just banned the manufacture, sale and purchase of semi-automatic firearms with a detachable magazine.  As always, this gun control will not reduce crime, all it will do is make it harder for law abiding Americans to exercise their right to self-defense.  The law makes allowance for people to buy those guns if they undergo certain training and requirements to get a purchase card.  However, freedom does not require a "Permission Slip". 

​It sounds like semi automatic guns will be allowed if they hold no more than 15 rounds and the magazine is not detachable.  It seems especially stupid to ban guns based on their characteristics.  "Don't worry a bad guy can't hurt anyone with a gun that ONLY holds 15 rounds." 

Since the new law doesn't go into effect until August 2026, I predict that Colorado will sell more guns between now and then than ever before.  I also predict that all of the fools who voted for this law will quickly be voted out.
